The plot is located at the seafront of Pituba neighbourhood in Salvador, and is constrained by several volumetric restrictions, especially the one prohibiting the building to cast shadows on the beach.
The design strategy focused on developing a residential typology that would better adapt to the tropical climate of Salvador, and orienting such units in a way to enhance comfort.
The different typologies (1 bedroom and 2 bedroom flats) are oriented to both facades and allow cross ventilation.
The facades have sun shading elements that creates terraces and spacious balconies offers privileged view to the sea.
The building consists of a parking level in the basement, common areas at the ground level including lobby, gym and laundry and open air leisure, and on the roof a leisure area including swimming pool.
Taking into account the strong commercial vocation of Pituba, the ground floor offers a spacious commercial area with parking spaces.
